Hi, my name is Ruth and I’m the owner of Prestbury Paws.

I’ve always loved dogs and have been a dog guardian for most of my life. About 18 months ago I decided to turn my passion into my career, one where I would get to work with dogs daily. I undertook a full training programme to become level 3 qualified in dog grooming, working in a training salon. I’ve finally given up my career working in student support, completed converting my beautiful summerhouse into a bespoke salon with all the latest equipment and am ready to realise my dream.

Your dog will be in safe hands in a one-to-one setting, able to wander freely in my enclosed garden before and after the appointment. My aspiration is to provide the best possible service I can for you whilst also ensuring that the groom is as stress free and pleasant as possible for your dog. For me, the overall wellbeing of your dog is as important as how it looks.
